Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Hujjat al-Islam Madani, head of Jamiat al-Zahra university in Qom held a press conference in which he elaborated on their centers' future agenda.

He referred to some of Jamiat al-Zahra's unique features saying, "This center is currently the greatest female seminary in the Shia world, as of today there are more than 13000 Iranian students as well as more than 1000 foreign students presently learning Islamic courses in Jamiat al-Zahra in Qom."

"A Center as comprehensive as Jamiat al-Zahra with its diverse scientific and research services offered to thousands of female students is an example of women's high position and pivotal role in Islam and Shiism."

The cleric then pointed out the international stature of Jamiat al-Zahra University and said, "There are students from all Iranian provinces as well as more than 90 countries worldwide studying in Jamiat al-Zahra."
